London Collections Men: Topman

Embroidered sweaters, cowboy shirts and floppy trousers were the order of the day on the Topman Design catwalk at London Collections: Men.

Decorative embroidery, like the iconic cowboy shirt, was a departure from Topman's surf-inspired collection from last season. There were no shorts or casual t-shirts, instead it was focused on a single look called "beautiful decay" by its creative director Gordon Richardson.

Sweaters, shirts and silk jackets saw accents of gold and silver, along with intricate floral embroideries. On closer look, these appeared to be coming apart at the seams, hence the 'decay.'

Whilst the show was not versatile in presenting different looks, it had a strong vision of the urban cowboy in a world of decadent glamour.
