Esprit d’Oscar debuts on Facebook

To celebrate the launch of his first fragrance in ten years, fashion designer Oscar de la Renta is introducing his 'Esprit d’Oscar Eau de Parfum' on Facebook. The new fragrance is subscribed as a spirited, elegant and sparkling scent with notes of jasmine, orange and musk.

By launching Esprit d’Oscar on Facebook the fashion brand wants to generate an online buzz and is giving out samples to those who ‘Like’ the brand’s page. In January 2010, Oscar de la Renta reacquired its fragrance license from American distributor L’Oreal. Oscar de la Renta himself launched his label in 1965, and his fragrance Oscar 12 years later.

The perfume launch is supported with a backstage movie of Oscar de la Renta’s AW11 show in February.
