John Galliano may soon be back designing haute couture dresses, if sources are to be believed.
WWD published a story that the British designer, who publicly fell from grace two years ago, may be offered to take a more permanent position at Oscar de la Renta.
De la Renta previously worked with Galliano when the American-based designer worked with him on a short project in his studio in January of this year.
A statement issued on Wednesday by de la Renta CEO Alex Bolen said that the company is “deeply impressed with John’s talent and would love to find a way to work with him in the future. To date, we have not found that way."
