Hermès launches first digital pop-up shop

French luxury fashion label Hermès has launched its first online pop-up boutique, a project 10 months in the making.

The temporary online store, names La Maison des Carrés, is available in 27 countries throughout Europe, Asia and the US. The pop-up features an interactive interface, which was designed by illustrator Pierre Marie, whose designs are also featured on a number of scarves from Hermès.

Visitors are able to visit the pop-up shop and navigate through the Hermès house, which features a number of rooms and play games, discover new things about the brand or shop a selection of 600 different silks scarves from the French luxury label.

The new site was developed in collaboration with creative agency AKQA, Bali Barret, the creative director of women's section at Hermès and Pierre Marie.
