For its debut flagship store, the retailer has selected a 2,000 square foot store in New York's Soho area, which will offers both its women's and men's footwear and accessories.
The new store, which is set to open its doors on September 5, is said to be the start of the footwear retailer's expansion push within the country, with plans in the pipeline to open a store in Westfield World trade center next year.
“We see a massive opportunity to open Dune London stores in the US. This is a key element in our international retail expansion plans,” said Dune executive chairman Daniel Rubin to Drapers.
“We have been searching for the right first store in Soho, New York, for some time to showcase the brand. We believe the store at 518 Broadway ticks all the boxes in terms of position and size and can’t wait for the opening this Fall.”
The US flagship store will also showcase the inverted catwalk design that have been introduced to other stand alone international Dune stores across the global. The footwear retailer currently operates stores in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa, totaling over 250 store around the world.
