Boden aims to expand online business

Boden, the British upmarket catalogue and online business, is looking to expand internationally.

Founded in 1991 with just 8 menswear styles, Boden has become the UK's catalogue fashion success story, with aims to rival Topshop and Gap.

The company is hoping to boost sales with targeted websites and potential catalogues in new territories, like it has in Germany and Austria.

Boden launched its first website in 1999, when it was selling womenswear and childrenswear in its portfolio. Currently the company has dedicated websites in the US, Germany, France, Austria and the UK, however shoppers from more than 50 countries buy the brand.

Known for its stripey T-shirts and colourful collections, Boden ships on average 12,500 parcels a day from their warehouse in Leicester.
