Total sales including online sales increased by 7 percent. Company has attributed same-store sales rise year on year in April to the warmer weather, which boosted sales of spring items.
During the month, company, a part of Fast Retailing Group opened 14 Uniqlo stores and closed 5. Company’s global hotspot Uniqlo Okachimachi store was also opened in Okachimachi, Tokyo on April 25, 2014.
