Tom Ford launches e-commerce

Tom Ford has launched e-commerce for his eponymous fashion brand offering a selection of items including handbags, leather goods, footwear, jewellery, eyewear and the brands beauty and fragrance ranges.

“I have waited patiently to introduce e-commerce until I felt the foundation of the brand was well established offline,” said Tom Ford. “We now have 98 retail locations worldwide and the online store is an extension of them: it is a beautiful online space that carries exceptionally crafted, handmade products and offers superlative service.”

The site was designed with the mobile consumer in mind, as it has the ability to adapt to the user’s device automatically to give mobile users a premium experience.

Initially, the transactional website will only be offered in English and current only ships within the US, however the brand has expressed that it will be expanding not only its product range but also to include more markets internationally and that the site will be translated into multiple languages.
