Adidas and long-term collaborated Stella McCartney have unveiled a new athletic collection, dubbed Adidas StellaSport. The diffusion collection is targeted a younger audience than Adidas by Stella McCartney range and offers a variety of sportswear, footwear and accessories designed to be worn both in the gym and on the streets.
Unlike the former collection, Adidas StellaSport offers bolder and brighter garments at a lower price range, with prices starting as low as 20 dollars up to 100 dollars. “It takes the Stella girl from the campus to the club and finds a link in sport and technology without sacrificing style,” said McCartney to WWD.
“There are signature moments, like our new self-laced sneakers, that give individual personality. These pieces are designed to complement your life and be totally realistic that fashion and sport technology are here to stay as a huge part of our life and wardrobes, and this is the attitude we are shouting about.”
Part of the Adidas Sport Performance sector, the new collection offers tank tops, bras and tights in the label’s rapid drying Climalite fabrics. Accessories include trucker caps, knee-high socks and backpacks.
Adidas StellaSport is set to launch on Adidas’s website, as well at selected retailers such as Topshop and Nordstrom from January 15.
