French Connection announces first German store

Tuesday, 14 October 2014
British fashion retailer French Connection has confirmed that it is expanding its European market with its first standalone store in Germany.

Set to open its doors later this month, the 72 square meters store in the Mall of Berlin in Leipziger Platz, will offer the retailer’s latest offerings from its autumn/winter 2014 collection, including a curated selection of womenswear as well as premium accessories such as shoes and bags.

The store opening follows the success of its first overseas website in Germany which launched earlier this year, and marks a step forward in the fashion retailer’s on-going plans to grow its international business and to move into new markets.

The French Connection store will sit alongside an array of international retailers in the Mall of Berlin including H&M, Bench, COS, Mango, Zara, Guess, Karl Lagerfeld, Lacoste, and Hollister.

This will be the latest international opening in Berlin for a fashion brand, Uniqlo opened its first flagship in the city earlier this year and Primark brought its fast-fashion to the region last year.
