Adidas names Tushar as brand director of emerging markets

Sportswear giant Adidas has named Tushar Goculdas as brand director of emerging markets. Goculdas will begin his new, Dubai-based role in March 2015, where he will be responsible for strengthening and expanding the brand in the Middle East, Africa, parts of Eastern Europe and the Indian subcontinent.

Former Adidas brand director of India, Goculdas has been credited with growing the brand in the region as well as making significant enhancements to Adidas’ athlete portfolio, which is why he was chosen for the emerging markets role. He will report directly to Osman Ayaz, managing director of emerging markets Adidas Group.

Prior to joining Adidas, Goculdas worked at Boston Consulting Group, Colgate-Palmolive and Whirlpool.
