The new Nordstrom stores to offer Topshop and Topman will include Dallas, Houston, Minneapolis, San Diego, Washington, D.C., Southern and Northern California, South Florida, as well as new downtown locations in Chicago and Seattle.
Since launching its core Topshop/Topman offering in Nordstrom in September 2012, the partnership has expanded to include Topshop shoes and make-up in selected stores, as well as Topman suiting offering, which will be in over 30 additional stores by November this year.
Topshop and Topman push forward with American expansionCommenting on the expansion, Arcadia boss Sir Philip Green said: "I am excited about this next phase of the partnership between Nordstrom and Topshop and Topman. The first nine months have been a steep learning curve for us all, and it has been great to work with Pete and his team on providing the Nordstrom customers with the very best of what we deliver as great British fashion brands.
"I always believed that Nordstrom's multi-channel presence was the decisive factor in partnering with them in the USA, and we are looking forward to the further expansion across so many great cities, and refining our presence within their stores and on-line. Hopefully there will be even more to come!"
Pete Nordstrom added: "We are very pleased with our Topshop Topman partnership and excited to expand and grow together. Through this collaboration, we hoped to attract new customers to both our women's and men's apparel businesses and to learn to create newness and excitement in our stores and online.”
Topshop has 319 stores in the UK, with a further 137 international franchises operating in 37 countries, and operates its own standalone American flagship stores in New York, Chicago, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles, while Topman has more than 240 stores in Britain and its dedicated website attracts an average of 800,000 visits per week and currently ships to over 100 countries across the globe.
