Hugo Boss Fashion Award 2015 introduces menswear by Stuttgart’s fashion graduates

Thursday, 29 January 2015
German fashion label Hugo Boss has reinstated it’s fashion award for 2015, working together with young creative talents from the School of Fashion Stuttgart. This year’s theme for the award is ‘Luxury Resorts, St. Moritz meet Aspen,’ which revolves around Hugo Boss creative management’s idea  of a luxurious, yet modern, ready-to-wear men’s wear collection.

19 graduates from the School of Fashion Stuttgart have begun researching and  developing their ideas for the men’s wear collection based on the theme, which will be supplemented with their own individual concepts of men’s wear. Then, on March 19, a jury selected by Hugo Boss will select the best collections and award the winning designers prizes as well as internships at Hugo Boss.

The School of Fashion Stuttgart and Hugo Boss have been working together for over 30 years, helping subsequent generations of young designers gain unique insight into the corporate culture whilst sharing their knowledge of the industry with graduates and the school’s faculty. The collections designed by the graduates for the award will be displayed from March 20 to April 15 at the Design Centre in Baden Wurttemberg.
