Central Saint Martins students collaborate with the European Linen and Hemp Confederation

altBA Textile Design students from Central Saint Martins in London, have collaborated with the European Linen and Hemp Confederation to produce weave and print work for home interiors and fashion.

Student Richard Ose Ikhide was inspired by his Nigerian roots and took home the first prize because of his stunning prints. Other students who were recognised for their great work were Anoushka Seewoogoolam from Martinique,alt Cecilie Elisabeth Rudolph from Denmark and Antonio Castro from Portugal.

The students’ reward was a two-day visit to France and Belgium, where they visited flax fields and spinning and weaving mills.
