Bobbi Brown and Christian Louboutin to receive honorary degrees at FIT's graduation ceremonies

Cosmetics executive Bobbi Brown and shoe designer Christian Louboutin will be the keynote speakers and receive honorary degrees when the Fashion Institute of Technology holds its 69th commencement exercises on May 22, 2014. Fashion industry executive and FIT Trustee Emeritus John J. Pomerantz will receive the President’s Award for Lifetime Achievement. Four thousand students will be awarded associate, bachelor’s, or master’s degrees.

Brown will speak and receive her award at the commencement exercises held at 10:30 am for students in FIT’s Jay and Patty Baker School of Business and Technology and School of Liberal Arts. John J. Pomerantz will receive the President’s Award for Lifetime Achievement.

Louboutin will speak and receive his award at the commencement exercises for students of the School of Art and Design and School of Graduate Studies, held at 3 pm.
