AMFI Transit 2014 BA Show

Wednesday, 16 July 2014
altThirteen collections graced the graduate catwalk at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute, AMFI. Hand-drawn prints, voluminous top pieces and men and women swapping design styles popped up across all collections.

Some of the most remarkable collections were the ones designed by Alina Doll, who interned for Viktor & Rolf and presented a collection with skin-toned seamless pieces adorned with subtle embroideries, sequins and whipstitch patterns highlighting new contours, Sebastian Pleus, who interned for Alexander McQueen, created a feminine, gender-blurring, menswear collection; and Marijn Rikken's mexican inspired collection, full of colours, eclectic combinations and staggered layering.
