The festival, that is an annual series of art and design events will showcase the creative and intellectual achievements of Parsons graduating students, that are formed by a exciting group of artists, designers, architects, photographers, filmmakers, technologists, scholars and strategists.
Celebrating the class of 2013 the festival offers the campus community and the general public the opportunity to engage and experience innovation, critical inquiry and social concerns that fuel the creative process at Parsons.
“The festival is an exciting opportunity for the public to come face to face with the breadth and depth of work of the next generation in art and design,”said Parsons Executive Dean Joel Towers.
“This annual event enables us to provide a look at the creative process across a range of media and present cross-disciplinary, collaborative work that speaks to the high level of innovation, critical thinking and social engagement at Parsons.”
Taking place throughout the city the student work will be presented to the Parsons community and public from May 5th through May 24th 2013 including thesis exhibitions, interactive installations, gallery openings, workshops, critiques and thought provoking public programs.
