A recent graduate from the University for the Creative Arts (UCA) at Epsom caught the attention of a national retailer with her unique cape design. Victoria Geaney, 23, from Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire, won a national competition set by online fashion brand ASOS to have her design stocked on their website. The competition was promoted to all UCA students by the university’s careers service. Victoria said: “ASOS were looking for cape designs, which was a great coincidence since one of the favourite pieces from my graduate collection was a shirt cape that I had designed.
