The Gift of Culture main event took place in Tokyo in September 2010.rnrnThe Gift of Culture project aims at blending the uniqueness of the Israeli and the Japanese cultures. This goal is being achieved by a mutual creation of fashion by students at the Israeli Shenkar College of design and the Japanese Bunka Fashion College.rnrnIn their creations, our team of fashion designers are using the most personal symbols and significant characteristics that define their place in history from the past and into the future. Thus we hope to create new lines of communication, focusing on the human qualities we all share and allow each country to build relations in modern times, rooted in firm traditions.
