With models sitting on the front row wearing glow in the dark getups, Alexander Wang's urban aesthetic for next spring mixed a rave look with bold, cut-out stripes.
Seen on leather tunics, dresses, and boots, sharply cut-out linear lines, revealing most skin, was the major theme. What was particularly relevant was the designer never strayed far from his signature American sportswear look, therefore delivering a striking collection of freshness, if not altogether newness.
The geometric forms were held together by barely-seen mesh, which Wang referred to as "Tron-like." Elsewhere leather cut-outs were mixed with stark cottons.
