After yesterday’s announcement that Preen is set to return to the catwalk at London Fashion Week, another New York Fashion Week staple, Rag & Bone has confirmed that it will present its spring/summer 2013 collection in London this September.

Following the duo’s annual runway show in New York taking place on September 7, Rag & Bone’s David Neville and Marcus Wainwright will head to London to host a presentation to select press and buyers to celebration their first European flagship store, which is set to open later this month.

Commenting on the planned opening and presentation, Neville said: “We are thrilled to finally open a store in London. It’s exciting to present a collection for the first time in our hometown and for it to take place in our own store feels really special.

“Showing during LFW will further strengthen our presence in Europe and, of course, it’s lovely to be able to filter it directly to customers in the UK who have supported Rag & Bone since the beginning.”

Caroline Rush, Chief Executive of the BFC added: “Rag & Bone’s presentation is a fantastic addition to the London Fashion Week schedule. It will be a great opportunity for our guests to view their full collection and celebrate the launch of their first UK store.”

The New York-based brand is known for combining British heritage with directional modern design and the new London flagship will join the brand’s stores in New York, Boston, Washington D.C. and Tokyo, Japan. In addition, Rag & Bone are planning to continue their expansion with new flagships opening in Melrose Avenue, LA and Seoul, Korea this September.

The LFW presentation is scheduled to take place at Rag & Bone’s new Sloane Square store on September 16.
