Shaun Samson, Agi&Sam and Astrid Anderson have been chosen as Fashion East and Topman's next emerging menswear labels for the London Fashion Week’s menswear initiative, which is now in its 14th season. The designers will present at Man in a back-to-back show for autumn/winter 2012 on the dedicated menswear day, February 22.
The three emerging designers were chosen by a panel of industry experts which included Nicola Formichetti, Editor of GQ Style Ben Reardon, stylist Alister Mackie and Charlie Porter.
The news sees Samson return to the Man catwalk for the second time, after making his debut last season, while Anderson and Agi&Sam are both new to the Fashion Week scene. Previous Fashion East Man stars include JW Anderson, James Long and Christopher Shannon.
Additionally, Fashion East has revealed its line-up for February. Showcasing their womenswear creations for autumn/winter will be the same names as last season, for the first time in Fashion East's history: Maarten van der Horst, James Long and Marques'Almeida.
"I love everything about these three designers; their diverse range of reference points, their model casting and styling, their appetite for hard work, and above all the sheer brilliance of the finished garments which are entirely wearable," explained Fashion East director Lulu Kennedy.
