In its fourth year, the International Wedding Exhibition & Fashion Show Doha (IWED) attracted
over 10,000 public and trade visitors. The IWED was opened by Saudi celeb Waed and Qatari businesswoman Mona Al Sulaiti.
The luxury wedding event featured celebrity designers and over 100 leading providers of weddings decorations, photographers, dresses and honeymoon destinations. The event was set over 10,000 square meters of wedding products. Participants included Nicole Spose (Italy), Walid Attalah (Lebanon), Alwatif (Kuwait), and Raqsaat Group to name but a few.
Hollywood designer Vera Wang, Gulf designer Walid Atallah and Waed were among the celebrity designers. “Vera Wang is an American brand famous for its simple yet elegant and timeless gowns,” said Maryah Al Dafa, owner of Vera Wang Qatar. This is the only store in the Middle East, which opened over a year ago at The Pearl Qatar.
