Luxury label Ralph Lauren has appointed Daniel Lalonde
to the newly created role of President of its international division, where he will oversee all of the company's international operations. Lalonde joins the company on January 23, and will be based in the company’s New York office.
Lalonde has held a series of key management roles within LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton. Most recently he was President and CEO of Moet & Chandon, and prior to that he was President and CEO of Louis Vuitton's North American division. In his new role, he will report directly to President and Chief Operating Officer, Ralph Lauren Corporation, Roger Farah.
"International growth is a key strategic initiative for our company," said Chairman and CEO Ralph Lauren. "After achieving tremendous success in Europe, we are very focused on continuing those efforts and on expanding our presence throughout Asia.
"Daniel is a seasoned and talented leader within our industry. I look forward to working closely with him to further elevate and grow the Ralph Lauren brand in our international markets."
