L’Wren Scott has announced that she is to show during Paris Fashion Week for the first time. Due to the timing of New York Fashion Week in September, the designer reported felt that she needed more time to work on her spring/summer 2013 collection so has made the decision to move her show to Paris.
The designer, who has previously shown for the past ten seasons during New York Fashion Week, since her collection debut in 2007, was schedule to show on September 13.
An exact date and time for the new show in Paris has yet to be confirmed, but Paris Fashion Week will run from September 24 to October 2, which gives her plenty of extra time to finish her collection.
Another designer skipping New York Fashion Week this season is Nahm. Yesterday, the label announced that they weren’t showing at all this season, instead electing to do appointments in their new showroom during September and October to showcase the spring/summer 2013 collection.
