Hermès International to have its new joint-CEO

In accordance to the proposal from Patrick Thomas, Mr Axel Dumas will be appointed as the joint-CEO of Hermès International alongside Mr Thomas by Chief Executive Officer of Hermès international, the board of Emile Hermès SARL, the active partner in Hermès International in June 2013.

Mr Thomas said: “I have been working for over 6 years with Axel, he has all the abilities to take the position. I am delighted with the prospect of seeing a member of the Hermès family, succeed me.” M. Axel Dumas, 42 years old, a member of the sixth generation of the Hermès family is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Hermès International.

The Hermès Group, founded in 1837, designs, develops and markets high-quality products in more than fourteen departments and distributed over 11 main divisions, including bags, leather goods, Jewellery, silk scarves and ties.
