American Apparel appoints Jordan Schiff as GMM

American Apparel announced Jordan Schiff joined the Company as General Merchandise Manager effective February 13, 2012. In that role, Jordan will be responsible for the merchandising strategy and execution for the brand globally.

"Jordan possesses a strong balance of creative and analytic skill, and has a deep appreciation of our brand. We look forward to his leadership and the pivotal role he'll play in our future development."

Prior to joining American Apparel, Jordan worked for Urban Outfitters, Inc., as a merchant and also reported to its Chief Executive Officer on strategic communications. Prior to Urban, Jordan was with Deloitte Consulting and Deloitte Financial Advisory Services. Jordan holds degrees from Case Western Reserve University and the University of Chicago.
