Adidas and the portland-based footwear design academy Pensole are offering a three-week master class to the best 10 design students in North America, regardless their socioeconomic background.
Under the name of PENSOLEOGRAPHY, this project will take place at its new Old Town/Chinatown campus in the Goldsmith Blocks from June 4 to June 22. Scholarships for tuition and housing will be provided by Adidas to the selected students.
The winners will also present footwear designs to Adidas designers excutives at the end of the three-week program, who may opt to put such layouts into production.
D’Wayne Edwards, founder of PENSOLE, declared that this is their first major brand partnership for a single class which “was designed to share knowledge and help inspire, guide and challenge future footwear designers to reach their creative potential".
