FIT's Annual Design Entrepreneurs NYC

Wednesday, 20 March 2013
The New York based Fashion Institute of Technology gives 35 applicants the chance to participate in an intensive, classroom-style “mini-MBA”program.

Starting with introduction in May, followed by three intensive introduction weekends, participants will formalize their business plans with the assistance of instructors, ending the program with a live presentation of their business plans to a panel of industry leaders.

Applicants must have a business based in one of New York City’s five boroughs and be open for at least one year to participate in the free program, whose main target is teaching the fashion designers the skills how to successfully run a fashion label.

Fashion designers that want to participate have to send in their application no later than March 31, 2013.
