Too many great new ideas do not reach their market due to poor strategic planning
The Centre for Fashion Enterprise at London College of Fashion is proud to announce the launch of a new initiative which will empower young entrepreneurs to break into the notoriously competitive world of fashion. Based on the intensive and incredibly successful US model – fashion bootcamp will fast- track businesses to success through mentoring and expert advice and give participants the chance of winning £1,000 to kick start their business ideas.

Intensive and focused, the bootcamp is designed to support entrepreneurs to test their concept’s viability through exploring and planning their launch strategies using relevant networks and media.

Too many great new ideas do not reach their market due to poor strategic planning, lack of expert advice and access to the notoriously closed world of fashion. Fashion Bootcamp will help change this by matching entrepreneurs with a team of experts who will work with them to direct their strategies to make sure their business idea is properly researched, developed, planned, funded and launched; increasing their chances of success!

The Centre for Fashion Enterprise is perfectly placed to provide this unique experience having already successfully propelled a whole roster of international designers including Erdem, Peter Pilotto, Marios Schwab, Richard Nicoll, Mary Katrantzou and Meadham Kirchhoff, to success.

Not only will participants have unprecedented access to experts with the insider and business knowledge to help launch their careers but will also be eligible to win £1,000 to kick start their business – winners will be picked from the group by the team of experts and will be announced at the end of the intensive weekend.

The first fast-track bootcamp will run in London on 9 - 10 July 2011. For further details please visit the CFE website or contact the LCF press office.
