 Avon announced the debut of Patrick Dempsey Unscripted, the signature men's fragrance the company created with award-winning actor Patrick Dempsey. For Dempsey, who is known as McDreamy on ABC's hit "Grey's Anatomy," the alliance with Avon was a natural progression, as his wife
 Jillian's has been Avon's global creative color director since July 2006. The debut of the fragrance follows the announcement of the multi-year partnership agreement Avon made with the actor in May 2008. Patrick Dempsey Unscripted will launch in November 2008 through 650,000 Avon sales representatives in the U.S. Next, the fragrance will be rolled out to Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic in the fourth quarter, followed by a global launch in 2009.
Dempsey, who also fronts Versace’s men’s fashion, is the most recent partner to join the company's premier fragrance portfolio; Avon's other partners include U by Ungaro, Bond Girl 007, Jennifer Hudson for Imari, Cynthia Rowley, Derek Jeter and Christian Lacroix Parfums.
