Seven For All Mankind will open its first flagship store in Manhattan today. The 3000 square foot store in Soho on West Broadway, is the brand’s fourth and largest full-price unit. Because the location positions the brand in an area where art and commerce intersect, the store will also be used as gallery space. The first artworks exhibited will be Tim Mantoani’s “Behind Photographs” consisting of the “living legends” of photography.

Seven For All Mankind was launched in Los Angeles in the fall of 2000. The brand, famously dubbed “Sevens” by fashion editors and stylists, grew to fame in no small part because it became an instant favorite among Hollywood’s elite. The company continues to grow and evolve as a true denim lifestyle brand, expanding its product line to include men’s, sportswear, handbag, footwear and kids collections. The brand’s offerings also continue to expand through innovative collaborations with highly regarded designers such as The Great China Wall, Zac Posen, Azzedine Alaia, Evan Yurman and Pucci.

The premium denim label was acquired by VF Corp. in July 2007.
