YOELL (registered trademark) is a special range of jewellery hand made by South African women infected with HIV. These women are still often shunned by their community.

Selling this jewellery enables them to support themselves. To promote their jewellery, the Medical Knowledge Institute (MKI), a non profit organisation which sees healthcare as a fundamental human right, has entered into a joint venture with the craft shop where these women work. The proceeds from YOELL (registered trademark) are shared between the workshop and MKI's training programmes. One of the aims of this programme is to train healthcare workers and local people how to deal with curable and other opportunistic diseases.
