WSA Show announces program for February 2009 |

The organiser of the WSA Show, world's largest footwear, handbags, and accessories marketplace, announced some changes
in the twice-yearly event, which will be held in Las Vegas from February 12 -14, 2009.
"From a new look and feel, to a merchandising plan and signage that is easy for buyers to shop, to lounges for networking and internet access, ease and clarity to get business done is guiding our decisions," said Diane Stone, chief operating officer of The WSA Show. With the focus on promoting an environment conducive to exploring, shopping, and networking, some of the major changes will include new product categories to improve brand adjacencies. The new program Materials at WSA, which launched in Las Vegas in February 2008 alongside The WSA Show, will be continued in 2009. Materials at WSA further expands the breadth of this industry marketplace to include the supply chain by focusing on materials, design, components, technology and sourcing alongside the finished product. There will a new Fashion Active area, featuring athletic and junior/contemporary product related to skate and street trends, featuring brands such as Skechers, K-Swiss, Ed Hardy, and more. Also the February 2009 show brings back the succesful element The Collections at WSA, an exclusive luxury footwear and fashion jewelry show within The WSA Show. show, set in 2.1 million square feet of space. |
