This spring shoes are the new bags. New York label Tibi felt the vibe and just their very first shoe collection. The shoes are designed
alongside the Ready-To-Wear collection of the down town chic brand. Tibi's SS08 designs are all about a young Elizabeth Taylor, starring in 'Cat On A Hot Tin Roof', set in the Sahara. Super feminine styles have a naughty edge, and give any sweet outfit a more interesting direction.
Tibi designer Amy Smilovic comments: "I was obsessed with wood beads and organic accents, like the raw linen beaded medallion flats and the mother of pearl embellished sandals. Masculine touches like gladiator details and strong wooden heels mixed with a fabulously feminine direction, make the ultimate Tibi shoe." As seen on the runway, the shoe collection is exclusively available at net-a-porter.com. Tibi's RTW collection is stocked at Harvey Nichols, Harrods, Selfridges and select boutiques throughout the UK. |
