Murry new CEO Calvin Klein Inc.

Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation, owner of Calvin Klein, today announced a string of executive promotions, starting with the elevation of Tom Murry from President and COO to President and CEO. The last CEO of Calvin Klein was cofounder Barry Schwartz.

Tom Murry has been with the company for more than 11 years. During his tenure, he has overseen the company's global growth trajectory as well as the integration of the company following the acquisition of Calvin Klein Inc. by PVH in 2003. Emanuel Chirico, CEO of the Phillips-Van Heusen Corporation said: "Under Tom's leadership, the Calvin Klein business has more than doubled in size to over $6 billion in global retail sales."

Melisa Goldie has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer of CRK Advertising, reporting directly to Murry. She was previously Senior Vice President, Creative Services for the division. In addition to the creative studio, print production, and broadcast production departments that report to her, she will now oversee the fashion office and global advertising departments.

Malcolm Carfrae has been elevated from Senior Vice President to Executive Vice President of global communications.
