Louis Vuitton’s advertising visuals are known for being quite exceptional. After Mikhail Gorbachev, Catherine Deneuve, Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi – Keith Richards is the latest celebrity to face the Louis Vuitton's advertising campaign. It is the first time ever that the guitarist and songwriter of The Rolling Stones has participated in an advertising campaign of any sort.

In this visual, photographed by Annie Leibovitz, Keith Richards is pictured cradling his guitar in a hotel room whose ambiance he has transformed by draping black scarves with skull motifs over the lamps and placing a skull on a bedside table. The tagline states simply: "Some journeys cannot be put into words. New York. 3 am. Blues in C." The campaign restates travel as a personal journey and is produced by Ogilvy & Mather.

Louis Vuitton, which is committed to promoting environmental responsibility and sustainable development, is making a donation to The Climate Project, spearheaded by Nobel Peace Prize winner Al Gore, on behalf of Keith Richards.
