Retailer J.C. Penney Co Inc is pairing with trendy designer Charlotte Ronson to sell an exclusive women's fashion
sportswear line, the I "Heart" Ronson" collection.
The line, which targets 21- to 35-year-old women, will be hitting 600 of Penney's 1,093 stores for spring selling. The line will also be available on jcp.com and in Penney's catalogues. The I "Heart" Ronson" collection will include tees, knit tops, blouses, sweaters, jeans, skirts, dresses and jackets. Prices will range from $15 for layering tees and tanks to $44 for tops, sweaters and jeans to $65 for dresses and jackets. "JCPenney is focused on bringing newness and excitement into our fashion assortment, by identifying the world's best designers and partnering with them to create lines just for our customer, at a smart price," said Ken Hicks, president and chief merchandising officer of JCPenney. The addition of I "Heart" Ronson is a stunning example of this initiative." Ronson's higher-end clothing line is sold in upscale department and specialty stores worldwide. The designer also has stores in Manhattan, Tokyo, and Japan. "I see this as a great opportunity to open up my sense of fashion and style to a much wider audience," said Charlotte Ronson. |
